Micro Plantas, S.A. project began at 1990 in Alajuela down town, Costa Rica.
We are a tissue culture Lab specialized in ornamental plants propagation for growers around the world. We started with a production of 300000 micros per year and right now we are producing 4.5 million per year in our new facilities in Rosales of Desamparados of Alajuela.
Our main products are Spathiphyllum and Syngonium for Florida market, but also we have experience in other crops (Anthurium, Banana, Calathea, Philodendron, Ficus, Calladium, and Vanilla) and to other markets (Holland, Poland, Australia and Chile).
