MICRO PLANTAS, S.A. is a tissue culture lab dedicated to the micro propagation of ornamental tropical plants. The company takes part in the new biotechnological revolution using new tissue culture technologies which are capable to increase the yield of the agronomic process. Our vegetal material develops excellent quality in different aspects like color, size, uniformed material, establishing it in an important level of competition.

The most used technology is the callus induction; with stimulate the cellular division increasing the productivity. At the end, the in vitro material produced offers beneficial advantages, like homogenous material of high quality and high regeneration capacity.

With 15 years of experience and with our new facilities, we expect to increase the production to 10 million micros per year. We count with an excellent group of professional, working in new projects with the main country universities, for example at this moment we had presented 8 thesis projects with students of these institutions.
